My Erasmus+ adventure

My work placement in Muff, County Donegal, IRELAND

Hellooooo everyone, I’m Anaëlle Stella, a 24-year-old from the east of Réunion.

When I applied for the Erasmus+ programme, I was a bit daunted by the prospect of such an adventure, yet at the same time I was excited at the thought of pushing my limits: travelling alone, stepping out of my comfort zone, finding my own path… Living the Irish way and working alongside professionals who love their jobs made me realise that supporting people with disabilities as they achieve their goals is the most wonderful thing of all!!! Seeing them happy as they bring their projects to life was the turning point that led me to become the counsellor who supports them in their projects, despite their disabilities.

"Your only limit is yourself"

I managed to push beyond my limits, savour every moment and meet some unforgettable people!!!! In the end, despite my fears about travelling abroad, going off on my own to a faraway place gave rise to a new Anaëlle Stella, full of ambition and eager to set off on new adventures!!!

From the Erasmus+ experience to professional success

What next? An inspiring success story

I’m currently training to qualify as a Career Integration Adviser in Saint-Denis, doing an internship with AGEFIPH, and I must say I’m excited and proud to be doing something I love!!!
