Anne Perrault directrice Ici et ailleurs 974

Anne PERRAULT – Director

Anne Perrault holds a DESS in sociology applied to local development. Thanks to her career path, she combines experience in the integration of people with fewer opportunities, experience in managing international mobility projects, and skills in training management.

She worked within the Missions Locales network for 12 years, progressing through the roles of research officer, adviser and then project manager. She was involved in Erasmus+ Youth projects, led employment-related projects and helped to set up the first Leonardo da Vinci project.

Since settling on the island, alongside her work on various projects in the fields of training and integration, she has sought to develop initiatives related to European mobility, convinced of its significant value as a tool for integration. She has developed and implemented Leonardo da Vinci and Erasmus+ mobility programmes, with the support of several training partners.

Thanks to this varied career path, she has gained an understanding of several professional sectors, the local labour market, integration policies and the job-seeking population of Réunion, as well as the management of European mobility projects and continuing vocational training schemes. Recognised locally by the network of Missions Locales and Pôle Emploi as a key contact in the field of European mobility projects, she speaks English and a little Spanish.

In 2015, she co-founded our ‘Ici & Ailleurs’ centre and became its director. She manages the centre’s administrative and financial affairs, coordinates language training courses and implements Erasmus+ projects. She leads preparatory training sessions for mobility programmes. As a member of the Erasmus+ Developers network, she has developed recognised expertise in leading and managing European and international projects.

Marcus JARVIS – Head of Teaching

Marcus Jarvis, co-founder of our organisation, is our Head of Teaching. Originally from the island of Dominica, he is a native English speaker and began working in France in 2000.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in FLE (French as a Foreign Language) and a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification.

He has been a contract English teacher in lower and upper secondary schools for over 10 years, having taught in particular in REP+ (Refondation en Education Prioritaire) areas – neighbourhoods with the highest concentrations of social difficulties that have a significant impact on academic achievement.

Since 2012, he has supported the Leonardo and subsequently the Erasmus+ projects aimed at jobseekers, in collaboration with Anne Perrault and the organisations leading the projects. He has contributed his teaching expertise to these initiatives. He has developed specific training programmes focused on language preparation. Every year, he innovates by undertaking training at European level in teaching methods.

In 2015, he co-founded ‘Ici & Ailleurs’ and is its educational director.

He designs and organises the curricula and teaching methods for language courses. He leads, with enthusiasm and professionalism, English language training and/or refresher courses for businesses and jobseekers.
